Parish Mission Statement
St. Bernard is the Community of Catholic believers in the Diocese of Dallas who strive individually and all together as a community to achieve the twofold end for which God has created us, namely:
1) the Glory of God (A.M.D.G.)
2) and the Salvation of our soulsTo achieve this twofold end for which we have been created we will commit ourselves to the mission of:
1) following in the footsteps of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ traced
in the Gospels
2) and the teachings and traditions of the Catholic ChurchSince all ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it, (PO 5) the celebration of the Eucharist will be the center and most important event of our Community life.
