The Women’s Guild was originally founded in 1949 as the Altar Society. In 1963 the name was changed to the St. Bernard Women’s Guild. The guild established a network of neighborhood circles to promote Christian community within the parish.
Today the circles are reaching out to all women and communities to strengthen its Christian commitments and to celebrate friendship and service. Every woman of St. Bernard of Clairvaux is a member of the Women’s Guild.
Mission Statement: To serve the Church and promote the personal growth in holiness and Christian fellowship of its Members, under the patronage of Saint Bernard of Clairvaux. To care for the needs of the parish pertaining to the care and supplies of the alter and sacristy within the means of the Guild, and to give the women of Saint Bernard of Clairvaux Parish the opportunity for social and spiritual fellowship.
A group of women who meet once a month, with a fourfold purpose:
Spiritual, Social, Study and Service.
Join a Circle or form a New Circle
Circle members and Circle Leaders help with many parish events such as:
God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
The courage to change things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference.
